We have returned to the cabin and I have worked on a few new projects.
This is a pattern from 1894 Cottonwood House called 'Charmed.'
I love the rusted jingle bells on his crocked little mouth.
My husband made the bread board for me to mount it on. I just need to stain it.

Not much else since these two precious granddaughters came with me.
Therefore, we have been playing at the river, enjoying a good old fashioned 4th of July celebration and camping in our new camper, Rockie.

My daughter and I are also making the girls quilts for the camper.

I was wondering if you could let me know if you are doing the starch method of appliqué on 'Raven' and if so, HOW did you get your star points so perfect? I'm working on a Jan Patek appliqué block that has stars and I just can't seem to get the star points to look like points....very frustrating. Thanks for any help/suggestions you may have!

ReplyDeleteAre you working from a kit for the Blackbird Designs quilt? I have a friend who was looking for a kit but could not find one. It is a wonderful design. Several bloggers have commented on the design so I think we will be seeing blocks on other blogs.
