Blogland is so full of temptation...
and I have no willpower.
Made with the itty bitty Twister Ruler by Primitive Gatherings.
It is 6" finished.
I can't decide whether to set it with the stripe or just frame it.
What is your favorite?
It was bound to happen. I had stuck to my guns until I saw Laundry Basket Quilts' pattern, Alaska Magic. I told myself, "It is te...
So pretty! I like the stripe. I started something new, too!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful--- I like the frame idea!
ReplyDeleteDid you make this up using the template or did you have a pattern?
Something for me to put on my list for future projects....oh,my! :) Carolyn
This is just delightful, Cheryl. I really liked it with the striped frame but it's great either way.
ReplyDeleteWhen in doubt, do both - Stripe it AND Frame it. Love it, Cheryl - twisters are the best ! 10" square - now that's itty bit...
ReplyDeleteSo cute :-). I like the little heart with the stripes around. A beautiful piece of fabric.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like.....BOTH!
Today,I ordered this ruler.LOL
Oh, how cute. I don;t have a Little Twister ruler so I will just have to enjoy your little heart.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I like it without the stripe. I think it stands well on it's own.

Cheryl!!!!!! You are killing me here! I normally am not into the heart thing...I like them but don't have to have them! This one....OMGoodness it must be framed! Skipped the striped print fabric! I don't have that size twister tool....dang you!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, it's the cutest thing tonight! Love it!!! I must also check the ruler out...
ReplyDeleteI like both but framed is simply sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful!!! So lovely!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, this is what you were talking about at the meeting on past Sunday! I remember how you told us to lay out the fabrics between the lights and reds, but I don't quite remember the order. lol Would you let me know?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely like the stripe added to frame it!
ReplyDeleteI also like both but would choose the simple framed version if I wanted to display it. Very sweet. Oh, and the shiny red thread is pretty, also. I can never resist shiny stuff.
ReplyDeleteSoooo tiny! I think framing it would be best - much more striking.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely stripes and then frame. I have this template. Can I ask where you got the pattern?
ReplyDeleteReally cute. You always have such good ideas.

It's darling either way, but I am a pushover for stripes.
ReplyDeleteI would frame but it will look fabulous anyway.
ReplyDeleteI gave you an award.
I think it may depend on how you want to display it. On a wall the stripe would be perfect. The way you have displayed it in your little vignette, then the frame would be enough. How's that for sitting on the fence!
ReplyDeleteWhat about a small stripe and frame it!!! I love this little ultra mini quilt!!! Very cute! I just received in the mail my first ever mini twister ruler, I think it is for 3" squares, from the Temecula Quilt Co. I can't wait to try it!!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful & TINY!
ReplyDeleteIt would look beautiful either way in a lovely picture frame!
OH SO LOVE IT! What a perfect little quilt! I love the raspberry fabric in the background... I may have to dig some of that out and use it in a project soon.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm joining the fray! I vote for the red stripe. Nice work Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Cheryl! I am backtracking trying to catch up. I'll have to check out that Twister ruler... Karen
ReplyDelete...and forgot to mention your header photos! Lovely! Everyone has changed the look of their blogs... they look wonderful, as does yours.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!! This is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteTotally darling. Have counted how many reds and backgrounds you used but can't figure out the layout. Could you possibly post the layout before I cut into the fabric. Thanks with gratitude.
