Happy Halloween and Merry Christmas

My daughter and husband were busy today.  These are the pumpkins I so patiently nutured this summer. Hubbie had to resort to power tools to carve his, but the bat stole the show.
And look at this totally fabulous table runner Ardis made using the SAL blocks.
Very festive don't you think!
I cannot believe how creative everyone has been with these little blocks.

Tonight we dined on a recipe from Sunset magazine -- Squash and Chickpea Fritters.  I will share the recipe tomorrow along with all the pictures from my monthly meeting of our SSQSG.
